She'd had a big hit with Jellybean Benitez , the fantastic Who Found Who. But sales of this single seemed to show that it was Madonna's hitmaking producer that pop fans were interested in, not poor Elisa. How Could I Forget You crashed and burned and the album sank without trace. In the late 80's being a major flop was no big deal and Elisa recorded a follow up with the help of Prince, which helped line bargain bins in 1990 . Elisa is so crap but her first album was fun and I love this remix. Her album with Prince is fucking appalling! She's definitely no Sheena!
LOL, I haven't heard either album yet. I do have her 'On The Way Up' CD single, which I got for 20p recently. If that's anything to go by I dread to think what the rest of the Prince album is like! I like her voice a lot though. I shall have to get on eBay and get some more of her crap.
